When and where do you meet?

Anime Screenings:
Where: Christ College Conference Room, Accommodation Services.
When: First Saturday of the month.
Time: 1-5pm

Manga Club:
Where: A local restaurant – usually Sandy Bay region.
When: Third Thursday of the month.
Time: 6pm to finish.

The UTAS Anime and Manga Club is a non-profit organisation that provides a forum where members can openly discuss and learn about Japanese animation and graphic novels. The club will provide opportunities for social networking with like-minded people in a fun and mature environment.

At the screenings we give a 3 episode taste of new and old anime series – subtitled. There are also presentations about topics related to anime and manga.

Manga book club meets at a local restaurant for coffee and manga discussion. It’s a great chance to socialise and meet other society members.

We also host Cosplay101 for those who are unsure how to make or dress in costume.
